Love it! Great effort from Lon Kruger's Sooners tonight! Excited for tomorrow night's game, fantastic confidence-building win tonight. That defense in the second half would keep Oklahoma in the game against just about anyone.

I almost added that qualifier to my post, actually. This team might score more than your typical Sampson team. We'll see, though. Again, I'm not sure that WSU isn't really bad.

Even if they are, though, this team hustles, plays defense and rebounds, three things we haven't seen (outside of the Griffins) since Kelvin.

As well as we played -- and I'm very pleased with our effort tonight, overall -- Wash. St. seemed like two different teams in the first and second halves. They were quickly cowed in the second half.

Nice win. Hard to tell how good/bad WSU is, but they are experienced, and they are more talented than the two teams we've already played. Outstanding team defense and rebounding in the 2nd half.

I don't know if all you guys picked up on it, but the announcers said that Washington State was the number 2 rebounding team in the nation so far. I guess that might explain the early rebounding trouble. OU did a great deal better in the second half. The bad news is Santa Clara is the number 1 rebounding team so far.

If you check ESPN going into the tournament, OU is the #1 rebounding team in the nation at an average of 51 a game. Remember, last game OU had 61 rebounds.
