In this hypothetical we get to sign any player we are targeting of your choice. Who is it and why?

I'm going with Bolden (not sure Jamuni will be ready to make a big impact and not sure what we get from Manyang though I'm hopeful) He may be our best big man from day one.

I'll say Ben simmons

Assuming you mean the 2016 class, my first choice would be Bolden. He's a game changer who would almost certainly have an instant impact on the team.

Next on my list would be Terrance Ferguson. OU is pretty well set with guards and wings for the next couple of years, including one of the best point guards in the 2016 class in Payton Pritchard. I can't wait to see him in a Sooner uniform. But you don't pass on a small forward like Ferguson if he wants to be a Sooner.

It should also be pointed out that OU is on several other really good players in the 2016 class. I would take any of a half dozen or more and be happy. Joey Brunk is another recruit I like.

Yea everything I saw said osu of Ferguson which makes me sick... he's a more likely get than Simmons though he's already committed elsewhere.

You're right Ada we are in on a lot of quality players it seems. Schnider Herard is another 4 star big man we're in on

I can see him picking KU. Why would a smart kid like Ferguson pick OSU over OU? The Sooners have enjoyed a clean sweep of OSU the past two years, winning six of the last seven. OSU alum for a father or not, I just done see it. That said, you never know what a kid might do if his father is a strong influence in his decision.

Didn't say it was going to happen, I heard he cooled off on OU quite a bit. But the thread said who OU targeted and Ferguson fit that description. Ben Simmons is committed to LSU and OU was never in on him.
