OU 31-28 at the half. OSU led the entire first half.

Vegas can't hit at all, and she had some really bad passes for turnovers.

This game is all Campbell and Griffin. I don't know what game the score-keeper is watching, but Griffin must have eight to ten blocks and altered shots by now. She has had a fantastic first half.

Morgan has been a little lost on offense. Hopefully, the St.Bernards can find Vegas at halftime.

Cannot watch it because I don't get FSN on my cable provider, following along on ESPN's PBP and box score.

OU up by 13 and Pokes call their second timeout to try to figure something out...

OU leads 65 - 46 8 min to play.... Ellenburg is back on track and making shots now...Kornet just hit a 3, Griffen has 17 and Morgan is doing a great job leading this team....LOOKING GOOD, GIRLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

65-46 good guys at the under 8 timeout. Griffin having a great game, Jo with another double-double.

OU is up 65-52 with six minutes left. Playing pretty well, though a bit sloppy. Nicole Griffin is having an excellent game, and Vegas has warmed up in the second half.

This was Griffin's game. She dominated on offense and defense, taking OSU out of their interior game.

Really great game by Coach Coale and the entire team.

It was nice to see other players take up the scoring slack when AE was cold. Rebounding seemed to be pretty solid too, although OSU got a lot of offensive boards.

Nice win all the way around.

I'll take my chances with the team that played today in any game. I thought we played very well as a team which gave a lot of the girls a chance to shine. Hook, Griffin, Sharane, Jo, and Vegas all looked good today. I would love to see Nic aggressive like that all the time.

We're going to need it as the next two games will be tough. I'd be elated if we won both of them.

I really want the girls to pull out a big win later this week against Iowa State. They kinda of manhandled us last time and I'd like the girls to return the favor.

The Sooners played very well. It helped that Bias and Donohoe didn't have great shooting games but, this was the best all-around game we have played in some time. It would be great if we could get kind of performance from Griffin a lot more often.

My hat is off to Martin for OSU. She is going to be a really good player.

Morgan with 10 assists was really good. I thought Jo played tough and was very physical. Others could learn a lot by watching her. She got after people and kept out of foul trouble.

The post-game quotes from Sherri were mostly about Sharance and Nicole. She did say that Vegas played a bad game and still had 17. Who has 17 with a bad game? But, she mentioned Sharane's rebounding, Jo's rebounding, and Nicole's dominance on both offense and defense.

South Carolina, Purdue, and Georgia were ranked teams that got beat today, along with OSU.

I should have mentioned Sharane who had another very good game.

We have 6 conference games remaining. Iowa State, even in Norman, is going to be a chore to come up with a win. So assuming a possible loss there, and a probable loss to Baylor when they come visiting, but I'd say probable wins in the other four games, we should have a minimum of 20 wins and probably 22 for the regular season. And then of course there is the conference tournment, too...

I don't know what to make of OSU. Honestly, I thought they were better than they showed in the second half. I didn't see a team with a lot of heart.

I think it just had to do with the fact two of their big guns had a bad shooting day. That plus, OU had a really good day.

I was a bit disappointed in OSU, and I think they will be better in Stillwater. But, I think it may be as simple as saying that OSU was not accustomed to being guarded in the interior as well as they were today. They had difficulty with Griffin. It affected Young. We didn't really see Donohue, Bias, or Young at their best. But, then, they have switched to starting Suttles in the last three games. Why? Martin was the only player who demonstrated aggression. She seemed to come to play. I guess that Suttles do as well. But, I didn't see much of Donohue, Young, and Bias that reminded me of what I had seen earlier.

Was this due to their down performance or to the excellent defense that they faced from Griffin, Campbell, Hook, and Jo? Even Vegas got into the act. They don't have a winning record in conference. Maybe we saw why.

Maybe, I don't know. I'll shut up about it. I don't want them to find it between now and the next time we play them.
