A tremendous win for our kids and one badly needed. Sharane and Griff went beast mode and everyone contributed. They played hard and gave great effort.
If Ellenberg shoots it like she is capable, they have a good shot at beating Baylor.

OSU never did sag inside to help on Griffin. They pretty much guarded us straight up which allowed for easy passes inside as well as dribble penetration. I don't expect Kim to make that mistake. I expect her to force us to beat them from the outside. If Aaryn gets hot they will guard her but still sag off the others.

This team is so confounding. I am just baffled. I can't figure out which players are going to show up when - if any of them do at all.

I can't figure out which coaching staff we're going to see the one that makes excellent use of her bench and uses tough defensive formations (our best) like the 1-3-1 and man and then gets fired up on the bench --- or the one that is stubbornly staying in a 2-3 zone when we are getting in killed and never subs, even when our starters are playing like crap and turning it over 30 times a game.

I just cannot figure them out. I'm not alone, as even the most strident homers on this board have been saying, "whoa! WTF?" much of the year. Sherri and her staff have all said it too. They can't figure this bunch out either.

One of the most unpredictable sports teams I've ever witnessed in any sport.

Right there with you. Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but I found it odd that Bias got her first foul in the in the first 30 seconds, and our coaching staff did absolutely nothing to clear a side and let Aaryn take her one on one to try and get the second foul early in the first half. She didn't get a second foul until 1:43 mark of the second half. However, great win and just a monster game from Sharane and Nicole. Good team defense and gutty performance from the kids.
