I scoffed at the idea Soloman was better than Lattin back then. I would take him now in a heartbeat. He would get my vote as the MVP on that team.

I always liked Solomon's attitude. Even the uber-skilled kids respect hard workers with good attitudes. Plus it's infectious.

I can think of very few instances this season where someone took the floor for us and decided to give some minutes of absolute ball-busting effort. We get a few flashes and thats about all.

there were a few all over who claimed he was a complete waste of space. I wasn't pointing to anyone in particular. Just advocating that attitude and hard work count for more than many care to admit.

I only intended to mock OU fans that were insulting Lattin I wish I was a “bad” athlete like the numerous players discussed on this board. I think a lot of the participants have never actually played sports with people gifted enough to play D-1 sports. Even the people I have known that walked on in the Big 8/big 12 have all been amazing.

The only encounters with opposing team's fans I've had have been at the Big XII tournament or NCAA games. I've never had any bad experiences with KU fans. I got some nice tickets at a fair price from one when we played Missouri in the Big XII finals in Dallas. I just can't work up any dislike for KU like I feel for Baylor or TT. Would I laugh if they get exposed in the scandal the FBI is investigating? Of course, I would! But I would HATE for TT to win the conference.

Mizzou fans are the absolute worst. I'm so glad they aren't in our conference anymore. The only two "altercations" that I have ever been involved with at a sporting event (40+ years) were with drunk Mizzou fans at the Big 12 tournament in KC.....they all can rot in....well ya' know.
