OSU has 4th ranked recruiting class???

He’s right though. OSU has some talented players on the that roster. Last bedlam game showed OU doesn’t have anyone on the roster that can stop that one Boone twin and he’s gonna get better. I like OSU’s roster, but in three years I have no clue as to what system or style Boyton wants to run. This upcoming year comes down to Boyton. Watters and Dziagwa were Ford recruits, this is the first time he’s recruited everyone on that roster.

OU doesn’t have anyone to stop a guy that averages 5 & 3 on a bad team? He’s could be a solid player who had a good game but that’s a bold statement.

He scored 14 points in one game against us, and 2 in the other. He averaged 8, but the way he speaks of it you'd think he averaged 28. Truly bizarre statement.

I remember hearing that osu was going to be a good team before last season. I remember someone on this board touting them as dangerous and said they’d be better than OU. Then, the season tipped off and they sucked.

I would hope they’d be better next season with an NBA lottery pick, if he ever shows up on campus. I don’t know how much he’s getting paid to play at osu, but I hear you can get $500k playing in the minors now. That said, they’ll still be a bubble team.

Boynton has proven he can pay players and recruit them to osu. He hasn’t proven he can coach yet. So far, he’s not any better than capel.

I doubt they are paying his brother that much to coach. I won't speculate if he or his family got other money or even his brother is getting some on the side money.
The known cheating as in the shoe scandal remember that money is tax free which is a much better deal. Also guys in college are getting much more pub so they will get better endorsements when they do go to the league.

I have watched this thread from afar. Here’s my 2 cents worth. The 3 seniors would be pieces on a talented team. McGriff had the most talent but never met his potential in my opinion. Waters and Dezagwia had a lot of holes in their game primarily defensively. Offensively they had trouble creating their own shot. They stagnated when Ice went out That said they started over 40 games together and had a losing record.

As Coach said they started 0-8 in conference. Then they all went out of the starting line up with only McGriff getting consistent starts after that. They went 7-3 in their last 10 games after that. OSU May not be a tourney team but it won’t be because of losing the Seniors

I liked the way the Boone twins played towards the end of the year. They had their moments. Harris and Anderson will need to improve from their freshman year. The Sophs Liklele and Yor will also need to improve

The biggest improvement needed is on offense. At times this team couldn’t hit the ocean last year. Hopefully Cunningham and the Canadian kid can help there

I see them as middle of the pack in a loaded Big 12 next year.

This is the answer to the how good will OsU be next year question. They were a horrible shooting team and lost their 2 best shooters to graduation. We all saw how difficult it was to score with a bunch of guys who couldn't shoot and Trae a couple of years ago. If they can shoot the ball they'll be good, if they can't they'll struggle to win conference games.
