OSU has a pretty tough schedule this year

Normally they schedule cupcakes, if memory serves....

Yale, Syracuse, Ole Miss, Georgetown, Houston, Wichita State, Texas A&M, Minnesota.

Guess we will know before conference what they are made of.

Learn a lot about them this Wednesday. They play at College of Charleston, a team with its conference best player. That community supports CofC basketball that will be a rough environment. I expect a close game considering OSU isn’t shooting the ball well right now.

Getting left out of the tournament made them change their schedule I'd guess.

The announcers noted during Saturday's game that OU has been in the top seven in schedule strength for a number of years in a row (seven, I think they said, but I can't swear to it).

I think this is a factor that's sometimes forgotten by some of our fans. Not only are we playing a difficult non-conference schedule every year, but the Big 12 has been one of the very best (if not the best) conferences year after year for some time now.

Its why we got in the tournament and actually got a decent seed. I expect the same this year assuming we can win a good share of these games and finished around .500 in conference.
