OSU penalties today....

I find the poke fans whining about this pretty funny. I think the punishment fits the crime. That being said, if other schools get off with a lesser sentence, I'll be right there with them campaigning to burn the NCAA down

That is true and I'm sure some schools tried to use that against them in recruiting. As long as the NCAA allows those players to transfer without penalty then I think the punishment is fine.

I was thinking the punishment was too severe because OSU did fire Evans immediately. What's KU's defense going to be? Those coaches are still on staff.

Their defense is very easy to understand. They deny any wrongdoing. Most of us with a brain can agree that is complete crap, but that is the answer to your question.

I agree that Kansas will be held to a different standard. They will drag it out. May be next spring before anything happens.

Yori Anei is transferring. Big blow

They also landed Bryce Williams, a (grad? not sure) transfer from Ole Miss, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior guard who averaged 13.3 minutes in 29 games at Ole Miss, averaging 3.1 points per game.

They lost more than this guy. Yor would’ve been the beneficiary of Cunningham’s interior passing.

Well your choices are, comply like osu did and get hammered, or fight and maybe get hammered maybe make it go away

This is absolutely correct. I get to read and listen to KU beat writers all the time and they all agree that KU’s approach from the outset has been to fight to the death and force the NCAA to prove their case. The details of their defense are somewhat nuanced, but the overall strategy is to not admit anything. I think more and more schools will do that after OSU and some of the other recent rulings.
