Houston - 63
OSU - 51 . (less than a minute to go in the game.)

WVU - 69
Pitt . - 59

KSU - 27
Tulsa - 26 (Early in the 2nd half)

That was quite a scene of Kelvin Sampson visiting with Eddie Sutton at the end of the game. Eddie looks to be in bad shape, but he still made it to the game. The meeting between Eddie and Kelvin was very moving.

After the win in Stillwater today, the Houston Cougars are 8-0.

I think OSU is in big trouble. Not that anyone expected much out of them this year, but other than Baylor and maybe Texas, I don't see a lot of wins for them in conference this year. They are looking at a sub-.500 season squarely in the face.

I agree. It reminded me of a video of Lincoln Riley I saw yesterday. He was talking to the young Purdue football fan fan who is in NYC for the Heisman ceremony.

Anyone who thinks K-State will remotely challenge KU this season is nuts. And Kelvin winning in Stillwater is just like old times!

Tyler Trent’s story is one of the most inspirational, sad and moving at the same time I have ever seen. His determination and courage throughout his struggle to beat cancer has been quite remarkable. I’m absolutely convinced he somehow willed an underdog Purdue team to a win over Ohio State, their only regular season loss of the season.

I was surprised to see Tyler at the awards show last night. God bless him for continuing to fight this dreaded disease!

Marquette upset Wisconsin today. Florida lost to Michigan State

These are worth a watch, if you have not seen them yet ... two videos below, where Kelvin pays a visit to the very frail Eddie Sutton after the game.

Wasn't Sutton the main reason Sampson got pushed out at OU? He basically turned in the text message stuff in that got Sampson in hot water? I'm not sure Sutton would have the same amount of class toward Sampson.

IDK. I have learned not to believe everything I read. Lots of sports "news" is not actually true. It has been that way forever.

There's always been a lot of skullduggery around that relationship. I've heard the text message stuff told several different ways. I also heard that Will Bynum was signed and sealed to Stillwater until Kelvin called his mother and said Tony Allen would be a bad influence on her son.

Who knows how much any of that is true. What you can't mistake is the reaction Eddie had when Kelvin came over.

I wouldn't take a leak on Roy Williams if he was on fire, but for some reason I never had a problem with Eddie. Shoot me now if you'd like. I even kinda like Sean, bless his heart!

Sampson wasn't pushed out at OU, so regardless of what Sutton may or may not have done, it had nothing to do with Sampson's job status. And given Eddie's NCAA issues, I can't imagine he'd have the stones to turn anyone in for text messages.

Man, OU may as well not even bother thinking about the NCAA tournament now. Every team worth a crap on their schedule lost today...jkjk! I am only kidding.

OU could finish 2nd in this conference. I dont think we will, but its not outside the realm of possibility. Outside of Kansas its wide open.
