OU a 12 seed per espn

I want to know what connections Joe C has here... The team really didn't deserve a bid last year, and they are a total dumpster fire again this year. 3-9 in their league and they still have them in the NCAA Tournament?

Last year I got it... they wanted Trae Young in the NCAA Tournament. I get it. But this year?

Is no one paying attention to this collapse?

Sure they are.

The Sooners (15-10) have earned that placement based on the entirety of the 25 games played to date. The timing of the wins and losses is largely immaterial.

However, the collapse is taking its toll, as week-by-week the Sooners are falling to lower-and-lower seeds. It will take a mighty positive turnaround to stay anywhere close to still having interest on Selection Sunday.

These projections aren't moving forward. They are if the season ended today. That's why we have been a tournament seed for the last couple weeks when it's been eminently clear we aren't going to make it.

I believe everyone on this board & many others are having a hard time watching this epic colossal unfold before our very eyes. The only person who really can do anything is Joe C.:OU-logo:

OU isn’t getting in. However, this means they’re the last team in and squarely on the bubble. No room for error, so as the losses keep coming, and they will, they will solidly be out of the field by next week or so.

This team is done.

If we get in, it's because we A) get on a win streak or B) they put us in as a 16 seed play in game.

It must be exhausting believing in as many conspiracy theories as some on this board believe in. Bad enough to believe that they put us in because of Trae, now you think it is because of our AD?

You think if we didn't have the most famous player in college basketball last year that team would have gotten in?

I don't think it's a conspiracy theory to believe OU made the Tourney last year because of the most covered player in collage basketball. The Tourney is about ratings just as much as it is about championship basketball. Trae Young put eyes on TV's that would not have otherwise been there if another team had been playing Rhode Island.

Texas and WVU are likely wins... both at home, neither of those teams are very good. OU will be hungry unless they have totally tanked.

Saturday will be interesting... TCU will probably win by 10 or so, leaving them 3-10, but they have a whole week off to prep for Texas the next weekend.

I think this team ends up 5-13 in the league.

OU is in with 4 more wins and i am starting to think 3 might do it

You are honestly trying to make the case that a team that went 6-12 in conference could make the tournament. This is a very strange hill to die on, and I'm guessing the only reason you're making the argument at all is because you know as well as I that this team isn't winning 3 more games so there is no way for you to be proven wrong.

didn't ut just hammer wv in morgantown? by 20...

neither is OU~

I'll go out on a limb and say we beat wv...they just dismissed 2 starters.
