OU - a&m

Wow it's amazing how two people an watch the game and see it so differently. I thought when Ti came in she gave us a great spark. Ortiz is just dribble dribble dribble dribble, I've never seen a point guard play like that. You simply can't compete with really talented athletic teams with a 6'3" post and our level of athleticism.

The announcer said that Walker's reason for going to A&M was their engineering school in which she intended to major.

+1 I thought TT out play Ortiz today

Remember A&M started 4 guards as well, just shows Rebounding is all about effort/ want to...

Gabbi is a wonderful player but she does have her short comings... I think Chlesea and Morgan will really help the team next year... Both kids should bring more athleticism to the back court, something well next year vs teams like Texas, Baylor, and even TCU... We haven't had an extremely fast/ athletic backcourt since we had Drob and Stevenson.

I'm not saying Gabbi is a great PG but, T'ona scares the heck out of me every time she tries to penetrate.

We need an upgrade at PG which is why I post a lot about high school point guards whom I believe would make us better that we might have a shot at signing.

I thought Gabbi stunk it up today. JMO. And I'd like to see Treece play more. And I started watching midway 1st half but where's the girl from OKC - #32?

Some things never change. We get beat on the boards. We can't hit a two footer and we can't stop theirs. And, we have trouble with teams with strong, athletic girls.

You saw that their PG didn't score a point in the second half but made all the difference in the world. There was once a time when PG were there to run the team and the defense.

If A&M can out rebound us by 10, I hate to think what Baylor will do.

TT can be our jones. Sherri can show TT film of jones game today that would show her she doesn't have to score to effect the game.

I just don't understand how we can rely on the three point shot so much. When they are not falling we are not a good team. A&M just out roughed us point blank. Speed and Athleticism is a must in these 2017/2018 classes. Jump shooters? Defensive stoppers? Playmakers? Something

I agree. Sherri is in love with 3 point shooters. The problem is, when the outside shots aren't falling and you can't penetrate and knock down 15 foot jump shots, you're in trouble.

My point exactly. Playmakers is a must. Walker and Williams had a field day. We will continue to struggle against aggressive athletic teams.

I know that some think our recruiting is just fine but, it isn't. We have to recruit better players.

I believe if we have Goiya we would have won.

If she can come back and be as good as she was during the first part of last year, she will certainly help. She was our best all around player.

It is interesting that some think that after every loss that the team should be e evaluated only by that loss. We had a bad half.

A&M must have had a bad game when they lost to BYU, a team that we beat by 26. Is A&M the team that beat us, or the team that lost to BYU by 26? Are we as good as the team that beat BYU by 26, or that lost to A&M?

T'ona is a junior. It is a bit late to be learning some things. No matter how often she and LaNesia get trapped underneath the basket, they continue to want to get there. I know that Sherri loves T'Ona, and she does do some good things. But, it is also time to learn some lessons about what not to do. Today, Gabbi was really no better. But, Gabbi, at least, presents the need to guard her beyond ten feet.

A&M didn't beat us today. We beat ourselves. I didn't see the North Texas game. The second half looked a lot like what I think that game must have been like. Good players were making bad plays, and they were individual plays, not operating within the framework of the team. Our momentum when we jumped out to a ten-point lead was halted by two successive offensive foul calls on Gabbi and Vivi, inexperience. I don't think we would have beaten UALR, Boston College, or BYU today. It happens.

There were posts after the North Texas loss that we lost because they had the better athletes.

And, Courtney was overweight. I guess that she needs to give back all those records.
