Before anyone else says it, you know it was a bad game when the post game notebook leads off with Blake Griffin.

Also Barnes is sucking up to Capel in this notebook.

Every big 12 coach loves Capel. I'm sure Sadler is hoping he leaves Oklahoma and is hired by a big 10 school, and the Colorado coach is hoping for the same in the Pac 12.

Every big 12 coach loves Capel. I'm sure Sadler is hoping he leaves Oklahoma and is hired by a big 10 school, and the Colorado coach is hoping for the same in the Pac 12.

Wow BOB, that is a big switch from what you were posting just 2 weeks ago. I swear some of you guys are living on a rollercoaster. Either he can or he can't. Your opinions change when the wind blows, based on if the wind is blowing for or against us. Reminds me of the football boards after a big win and a big loss.......

I'm not sure how you inferred from my post that I was changing my stance from a few weeks ago when I simply said he had "shown me something" (with his coaching) and "he deserves one more year". I'm not refuting or changing from either of those stances even after last night and the 2nd half last Saturday.

As I've stated before, Capel seems to be improving as a coach and if Osby is as advertised along with Pledger, Fitz, and Clark then next year could be pretty good and I'm willing to wait with Capel and see how next year plays out. If we don't make the tourney next year, then he needs to go, IMO.

The reason opposing coaches like Capel is because as of now, Norman is a much easier place to get a win. How many conference games did we lose at home last year? How many will we lose this year (we've already lost 2 or 3)? You can go back during the Sampson/Tubbs years and we hardly ever had years where we lost this many home games. Not to mention we used to be a force on the road; not anymore. Those are facts and that's what I was referring to in my previous post.
