I think we are playing hard, but Baylor is really damn good. It was discussed earlier in the thread, but as far as athleticism, we aren't in the same zip code as Baylor. And that is not a slap at OU because we are fairly athletic. But this year, Baylor is on the same level as Kentucky, Kansas, etc. in that regard. And if the refs keep letting them mug us, then we don't stand much of a chance of keeping this close.

Never a doubt about the outcome tonight. Baylor is just way better than we are. Hopefully they play hard in the second half. We were never going to win this one.

Completely agree. We are playing hard. It is just difficult for our guys to create good shots against a good D like this with the offense we run. Need to slow down our internal clocks a little and hope more fall. As for mugging it is a Big 12 road game so is to be expected.

Rebounding has been Baylor's savior so far for they are shooting the ball just as poorly as us. This seems to separate the more elite teams from the rest of the field for they have a knack to find ways to win. In Baylor's previous game they relied on the Bench (Bandoo) to create separation. And on a side note, I like typing Bandoo!

At the game. We have reverted to hero ball. Ball sticking with Doo and Reaves. Manek open at least 5 times and we forced bad shots. Feeling in arena like it’s gonna get ugly

The other big defense is the long rebounds they are getting and putting back in. Many of their easier shots have been those and they are beating us by 10 on offensive rebounds.
