This game will probably get ugly by the middle of the 3rd quarter (if not before) but if Sherri slows the game down as much as possible, it should keep the Sooners within striking distance.

About a 90% chance that they kick us BUT it is that 10% part that will make me tune in. If we run like crazy that can take Griner out of alot of it and we have to be at the 45% mark on our 3's and 50%+ on 2's to stay close - NO TURNOVERS too.

It would really help if we could pass and catch the basketball. Most of Baylor's points come off of our mistakes.

Baylor has turned up the defensive pressure. OU had got to respond or risk getting blown out.

It's easy to see why Baylor is the #1 team in the country.

Baylor has so many athletes on the floor it takes Sharane and Nicole out of the game. Morgan has her hands full just setting up the offense.

Only down 9 at the half ... team's playing hard and making a few plays. I like the fact that we're hanging in and continuing to compete once Baylor makes a run.

Aaryn has been phenominal! She needs some help from Sharane and Morgan. Early we were working the ball inside then outside. Griffin got in foul trouble which slowed that down. We need to take care of the basketball, keep Griner from going off the second half, stop those easy points off inbound passes, and rebound the basketball.

I'm afraid Griner is going to have a big second half.

I'm afraid Griner is going to have a big second half.

Griner doesn't have to score a lot to impact the game. Her defensive presence inside is what causes many teams, including us, today, to shoot a low percentage of two-pointer shots. We are shooting 29.7%, but 46.7 of our 3 pointers, which means that Griner is totally dominating inside, as usual. Her four blocks is only part of the picture, as she intimidates way more shots...

I will be SO glad to see her gone next year!

EDIT: With 11-37 FGs made, but 7-15 3 pts made, do the math: that means that we are 4-22, excluding the 3 pointers. That is 18.2 %.

When our 3 point shooting goes cold, (and it will) Baylor will expand their lead and run away with it.

If I were Sherri, I would go zone for a few possessions and see if it would slow down those points in the paint.
