And I'm really surprised that Mercer, being an experienced mid major, is as poor fundamentally as they appear to be. Our defense has been great tonight...no doubt, but they simply aren't a good passing team....which is uncharacteristic for good mid majors.

Cue the "they aren't who we thought they were" ;-)

I think a lot of that is just not having the go-to guy in the middle.

I agree. It's not that I don't really like Spangler, we just don't have that 6'10'' + inside presence this year, which is fine because I kinda get reminded of the Villanova team a few years back with Scottie Reynolds...Man I wish he fulfilled his commitment here, I went to elementary school with the guy and it would've been nice to see him as a sooner

We haven't had any guy in the middle the last 5 or 6 minutes.

I get that Lon is experimenting with lineups with the big lead, but I hate it.
