Yikes. How does Christian James play 10 more minutes than any other starter after going 1/10?

Is there a stat for shots taken that are blocked? I'd guess Odomes is 50%.

I don't mind Odomes shot b/c atleast he is trying.

Christian James needs to start playing better period
He was supposed to make a huge leap this year. Maybe it was our expectations were too high but man this has been a dissappointing year for him. If he lived up to billing and woodard comes back, I think we are a .500 team in conference.

Because he's the team's best or 2nd best player right now and the guy most likely to put the ball in the hole?

He's not going to break out of his shooting slump sitting on the bench.

I am curious what everyone was expecting of James for his sophomore year? He couldn't hit a shot last night, but his shots look good and in rhythm. They just aren't falling, but they will. Honestly James is playing exactly how I thought he would with Woodard on the floor. He isn't ready to take 13-17 shots a game. When he hasn't been forced to do so and is shooting 7-10 shots a game he has played really good as a sophomore. Unfortunately, with woodard not playing he has to take that many shots. Who else is going to?

I'm not sure I'd look at it that way. Most of us watching can tell right away his shot is going to be blocked. He's better off learning to kick the ball out if the shot is not there. Still, you are right in that his effort has been outstanding.
