M'baye, Pledger and Hornbeak combined for 3-19 from the field.

Yes, but Hornbeak had 8 points by getting to the free throw line, plus he chipped in with a couple of boards and 2 steals. Pledger and M'Baye had had a combined 7 points on 3 for 14 from the field and only 2 rebounds.

It's hard to win conference games on the road when two of your starters play that poorly. Truth is, they didn't show up in this game.

Um, yeah, I think the term is "beggars can't be choosers". Pray tell where do you think we'd be seeded then. We aren't one of the last 4 non automatic qualifiers in as of yet. I could see us drop to an 11, but honestly, I don't think this loss hurts us that much. Remember, Kansas lost there too (thank God for that I guess). And I've watched enough to know thst UCLA inspires no fear in me, and yes Louisville plays up tempo, pressure style which we've had issues with, I also know they haven't played great down the stretch. But thanks for your opinion.

What does beggars being choosers have anything to do with whether a hypothetical matchup is good or bad - anyway ive seen UCLA and Louisville plenty this year and disagree both would not be good matchups for us for different reasons.

We aren't a 10 seed anymore obviously, so not sure what your point is.

I meant essentially it wouldn't keep us out of the tourney. I could care less where we are seeded at this point. I agree it could drop us one spot.

I would have never believed we would go 0 for 16 from the 3 point line. I've never seen us so cold from bta. It looked like a bricklayers convention. Dang! You guys were talking about on a message board obsesively and loudly about the possibility of being a #3 seed. Hence, the 5 threads about OSU. And then you all went on to lose to the worst Big 12 team in its history.

Well at least you're in company with KU also losing to them I guess?
