OU vs Mizzou..... 6pm tonight

That was a terrific win. The guys fought through adversity and took back control of the game. Any game in which you never trail is an accomplishment.

I loved seeing Bieniemy's well-timed three, just when we needed it, and it was good to see Harmon contribute when he reentered late in the game. He made some key plays.

Sitting in the middle of Mizzou fans. Every time they got on their feet the Sooners sat them back down!

Lol yup...

Section 118...

Course they’ll be maybe 2000 fans now

Best news may be that Harmon will be on campus for many years. He doesn't scream NBA player, let alone a player to leave early.

Some folks, after the Stanford loss, said that we were in big trouble if Reaves was our best player. Thing is, seems like Reaves is really good.

Some games Reaves will be best. Other games Doolittle will be best. Other games Manek will be best. I don't think we have a single "best" player.

Just another example of irrational overreaction to a bar game. Heck, I'm guessing we won't see as many calls to change the starting lineup tonight. :)

I had to record the game and just finished watching it. It obviously helps when you rebound better and hit a few more 3s. However, once a few 3s did go down, I thought there was a little too much settling for jumpshots instead of working it inside or taking it to the basket....which led to complacency and scoring droughts.

I was fairly critical of both Harmon and Bieniemy last night, but I thought both played significantly better tonight. Without even looking at the box score, Harmon seemed to play with more poise and Bieniemy looked more assertive, but selective. And both also played much better individual defense tonight.

Reaves was great and, IMO, Alondes Williams appears to have the tools to challenge for 6th man of the year in the Big 12.

I don't know how good Mizzou is, but that was like a road game. And any road win is a good win.

This was probably the thing I liked best about being at the game. The Mizzou fans tried their best to get excited and loud at times, but OU always answered. Light years better play than last night. Fun game to be at. :OU-logo:

Very nice bounce back. Good to see the team respond positively after whatever we put on the court last night.

Def better effort etc than Stanford game. Missouri is ok but def not great. Home crowd was funny.... they’d make a run got within 3 then OU opened it back up.

Manek going 4/4 on 3’s early was a great start. Reeves had some good plays, definitely likes to drive. Played some smart ball when matchups favored us.

We still struggle with interior defense but it is what it is.

Cool to see guys after game came out and sat below us with their folks. A bunch of kids, butler/Missouri fans, went to manek to get fist bumps.

Talked to Kelly Newton for a few, was coaching KCKCC men a few years ago.

Overall good night, stayed for first half of Stanford/butler game

That Mizzou team sucks, but still a nice P5 win in the non-con.

Yep. I was thinking about that too. It is a good win, especially when considering it was a Mizzou heavy crowd. But yeah they aren't that good.

Kenpom currently has Missouri at 49, not so bad.

Is Austin Reaves a NBA guy? He is athletic, can shoot, drive to the basket, defend, dribble. Seems like height might be his biggest obstacle. He's better than Cousins was and Cousins had a cup of coffee in the NBA.
In my 100 percent biased opinion, he's a late 1st round talent.

I'd say no.
