OU vs saxet Wednesday 8pm CST ESPN2

I'll be shocked if he's drafted. Is he showing up in any mock drafts at all?

pj tucker. undersized 4 that can make corner 3's. doo is taller and more skilled .. ..
Tucker has been in the league seven years and is a former Big 12 POY. I like Doolittle a lot, but that seems like quite the stretch.

Great win last night. Closed the last 30 minutes with some REALLY solid ball.

i think doo will play multi years in the nba

Doo's ability to shoot at his size gives him a chance, but I think it'll be an uphill battle. He's not big enough to play the 4 in the NBA and I think he lacks the length/athleticism to play the 3 at a high level. In particular, I'm not sure he'd be able to guard a lot of the super athletic/long NBA 3s. Age is also a factor.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, and freely admit I might be. But the thing to keep in mind, at any given time, there aren't more than 450 people in the world who have full time NBA jobs. And in the NBA if you are a step slow or your arms are a little too short, or you are a little on the older side, it makes it incredibly difficult to get, much less keep, one of those jobs.

Shaka Smart should be let go.

Good win on the road for OU.

Team is getting better as guys like Harmon, Kuath, etc start stepping up more.

As for Doo, we do this ever year... At various times I heard people talking about how Rashard Odomes was going to play in the NBA, lol. Similar conversations took place about various other Sooners like Jamuni, Lattin, and others that are just silly AND do those players a disservice. Fine college players, but they don't need to be impugned by putting them on the NBA pedestal.

Doo is obviously better than Odomes ever thought about being, but he is the CLASSIC tweener, and is on the small side of that. I think when he goes to to the combine you are going to see he is 6'5'' or 6'6''...

I think he will make great money overseas, but he is not an NBA player.

tucker is 6'5 and plays the 4 in the nba dramond green is 6'6 and plays the 4 and the 5 in the nba .. .

also tucker didn't start off in the nba after college he had to play in the then d leage and then go to europe first .. for 5 years

tucker had to go overseas for 5 years before he got to the nba but a lot of that was to become a better shooter

clearly tucker is a bull dog defender and doo needs to work on that

Great game from Harmon and JB tonight - OU won without Reaves making a 3 and Manek not scoring at a high clip.

If OU gets 20 points out of the point guard position - they will be much tougher to beat.

I would like to see Reaves shoot more consistently - which is a little bit surprising.

Williams is a lanky, quick, 3 and D guy. That’s not Doo.

Kenrich Williams is 6'6 215lbs Power Forward in the NBA who shoots 26% from 3. He's a small ball 4 in the NBA, which is what Doolittle would be after a few years in the G-League or overseas.

Kenrich Williams last year at TCU:
FG% .477
3pt % .395
FT% .688
MPG 36.0
PPG 13.2
RPG 9.3
APG 3.9

Doolittle this year:
MPG 32.3
FG% .470
3PT% .538
FT% .809
PPG 17.3
RPG 9.0
APG 1.7

Now obviously Doolittle won't shoot 54% from 3 all year, but scouts say they look at college FT% more than 3pt% to see how they'll do in the NBA.

I thought shot selection was much improved last night. Except for Reaves. He appears to be forcing things a lot lately. Manek is good when he sticks to what he does well.

If we'd hit our free throws at our typical rate and made a reasonable number of the shots that we took from point-blank range, we might have won by 25 points.

Unfortunately Reaves has been forcing things all year for the most part. It's odd -- as another posted noted a few weeks ago, he seems to be very passive early in games, and very aggressive (overly so) later. Needs to find a better balance. We can't have him taking heat checks when (a) he isn't hot to begin with, and (b) it is early in a possession and Doo hasn't had a touch.

I don't see doo as an NBA players. He will play overseas.

And i don't think he is a great shooter. He has had a good start this year but I'm not sold on him being able to get the shots he gets in college in the NBA.

Yep... shouldn't have been as close as it was.
