OU vs TECH

That half went about as well as we could have hoped it would. Just need to maintain the intensity for 20 more minutes.

I hope the kids can continue to play pressure defense like this all year long. Three games in a row these kids have played outstanding on the defensive end. Nice to see that all the kids are contributing in some way. Gabbi playing well, Peyton on fire, and I hope we see more of Maddie and Derica in the second half. Just need to keep the pressure on for the second half.:chestram2:

Gioya and Kay kay have two fouls. Tech has three with two.
Rebounds: OU 21 Tech 14
Turnovers: OU 6 Tech 7
OU is shooting 54%, 43% from three. 83% from the line.
Baylor 29-26 over WV with a few minutes left in the first half.

Sherri commented that depth helped tire Kansas. I seem to remember her saying that she thought depth would tire Tech.

Sidearmstats.com is better than the stats OU provides for its games, it is what is used by Kansas and I think I have seem it used by another school. CBS stats
being used by Tech and what OU used to use has improved and is also
better than OU'S. It is nice to see stats that basically keep up with the game and are not two minutes behind.

Totally agree Norm; never anything wrong with a 20-point lead at intermission.

Peyton is like water … just plays within the flow of the game.
Sharane's on pace for a double-double and Gabbi continues to shoot the 3 pretty well.

Looking good for the good guys so far!

6 turnovers in the first half, thats taking care of the ball, lets see some more ball control and pressure defense the second half.

So impressions of those watching..........can see stats but do not tell the whole story. Peyton, Sharane and Gabbi have been mentioned........anyone else
stepping up though stats do not show. Or anyone not looking as good as usual.

agree! ESPiN was behind by about 5 or 6 minutes so I switched to CBS

TCU did come back against Iowa State at home. But, Tech should have difficulty.

Carter back in. Sharane commits third foul. We are a bit flat. 50-32 15:27

56-37 as Kornet hits a three, after Kay Kay misses two free throws. 12:21.

It's beginning to look good. Tech has not whittled much into that halftime lead.

10:54 Gioya gets her fourth foul. She and Kay Kay go out. Treece immediately fouls. They are calling a lot of fouls suddenly.

Think Kornett, Wyatt and LaNecia could all play better if they got
more consecutive minutes, however, cannot complain about how the team
has been playing. Just my wanting to see everyone get a chance (and us still win), especially Kornett since she is a Junior and has played some good games.
Who knows how things will go through out the season? Thinking players will have a chance to step-up. And not big on sitting someone for making a mistake, do not think a person going in and out helps them.

Kay Kay gets her fourth. OU got up to 23 point lead before mistakes.
