Media day starting at practice this afternoon. A picture from James Jackson of the OU 247 website. Per James, Jennie to meet with the media about 5pm and then all the players are available for questions/interviews.

Just got finished watching it. Really good interview. Zya Vann will be hard to keep off the Floor. Raegan Beers is doing well, Skylar Vann just ready to ball out and Liz Scott is back and Healthy. Payton is REALLY REALLY GOOD Coach Baranczyk says.

Tot… I think she’ll be replaced … just too small at some point.
The other is Coach plays a lot of ladies, everyone gets a lot of time. It’ll be nice to see 5 coming in that are almost as good as the others… not quite South Carolinian but maybe close. lol.
Just my very humble opinion on a very short video… but I wish the guys scrimmaging against them would really get physical. Maybe they do but as I said the VERY SMALL sample I saw I didn’t see that.
Anyone have more info on that?

I don’t see Tot getting replaced but her minutes may deflate just a little with Zya Vann. But Tot is also known for Assist in games so she will still be playing quite a bit. She’s one of the best in country when it comes to assists per games.
I think what Zya brings like Jennie said. physicality, very fit, can play good defense and score the ball from anywhere and she is not afraid to drive to the basket. Like Jennie said she is going to be hard to keep off the floor. I have a feeling Zya may be playing a lot of the 2. Meaning her and Tot may be on the court together or Payton or Zya will be ball handling. Im curious on Reyna because she’s a PG as well.
Im excited to see how Sahara does this coming season, Jennie said she has upped her game and her outside shot so im excited about that.
Its clear that Skylar will be playing more of a Wing/PF which is the 4 position this coming year with Raegan here. I know Skylar is very excited about that as well.
Hell im excited to see the squad in general. Like Jennie said. They have work and chemistry to work on. And the lineup will be different, I notice Jennie did said “Although we have Beatrice and KJ with Raeagn, we have a lot of Guards” so thats what im excited about.
