I have a few things to say/ask.

1. I notice Sahara changed her Jersey number from 32 to 6. I wonder what went in to her decision to change her number.

2. Did yall notice that this years Jersey’s have their last name on them? It was about damn time that happened.

3. I hope we can fill the arena this year for the WBB games. It will be needed with us going into the SEC. I Would love to see a BIG crowds to start showing up.

4. Our schedule is BRUTAL. Especially in SEC play. We go to SC, LSU, Tennessee and Ole Miss. any games in the SEC is tough in general.
We also go on the road at Louisville and neutral site against Michigan. We play at UNLV who beat us last year.
Our first game of the actual season is against Southern University who beat us last year as well. Then we host Virginia in our 2nd game of the season that friday. Virginia is going to TOUGH. And they are BIG, VERY Big. Should be a fun game!
Also our first SEC conference game is against Texas at home. That will be a fun game as well.

5. Do we think we see that same starting lineup we had against Oklahoma Christian throughout the season? I personally think yes but at times there will be changes to the lineup but I think our A1 starting lineup is
1. Tot
2. Verhulst
3. Vann
4. Williams
5. Beers

First off the bench can be any of these players:

Keys
Z. Vann
Scott
KJ
Joens
Culliton

If KJ has worked on her 3 point ability, I’d love to see her, Beers and Culliton on the floor together for periods. Not many teams have that much height.

But who are they going to guard on D? Play zone?
 
We did play with those 3 on the floor during the exhibition and played a 3-2 zone…with Lexy and Zya in at guard. Jennie said in the post game with all the depth we have this year we would be experimenting with player combinations during the non conference schedule to see what works best.

Yes they played a 2-3 zone with them in which would be very effective I would bet with that length on the back line. Could see Culliton struggling with it but we won’t know till we try it.
 
There may be some match-ups where we will want to play three bigs for part of a game. Like if we are playing a team with a lot of tall players.
 
What a hell of a Interview by coach Baranczyk. Lots of good things to say about the players and this team. Can’t wait for the season opener on Monday.
 

Congratulations on Raegan and Liz for being on the watch list for the two of the best Center’s in 24-2025 season!
