OU won right?

We are in trouble with WVU. Their Guards are quicker and can penetrate better than the OSU freshman.

What I notice is we do not get in defensive posture to stay in front of a quick dribbler.
You have to bend over get a wide stance just like the Newberry guy did against Buddy.

After the first 10 min. he picked Buddy 2-3 times and kept him from penetrating!!!

We need to improve before Sat.

Either we exist in a world of conformists or we simply do not. I'll side with the "we do not" crowd and because of such you are going to get opposing viewpoints regardless of any expected outcome (any). A poster uses the word 'if' and all of a sudden a mass of undergarments need to be readjusted. There is nothing expressed or shared on this board which will change the outcome of any Sooner basketball game regardless of which side the opinion originated from.

I've got no problem at all with "if." This conformist (honestly, that's a bit of a reach, don't you think?) is just puzzled as to why those who use "if" as you detail above employ it only for dire warnings and never to alert us to the possibility of good times ahead.

Can't one, even occasionally, be an optimistic non-conformist? Or must non-conformity always take the form of doom-and-gloomy forecasts?

i have never seen so many people so uptight on this board. even during the capel years. people are either *****ing about the play or *****ing about people *****ing.

It is OK to be a sunshine pumper. It is OK to be worried about our play even when winning. I'm sure Lon is

In my case, being at the game greatly helps the venting process. Shouting out-loud inside the arena and leaving hand-grip imprints in the steel armrests helps relieve the frustration.

For me, watching a game on TV while my team struggles is MUCH MORE frustrating.

You're so right. I think I scare my neighbors.

I never implied that you are a conformist. The use of the word was to illustrate how there will never be a true consensus on most issues in life, if not all, thus you are always going to hear things which do not sit well with you (this notion is neither new nor innovative). That is all.

As fans we are on a journey. This journey has both a beginning and an end. For the journey to play out the way we anticipate and hope we need the team to maximize certain aspects of the game while at the same time minimizing others thus two things need to occur simultaneously. Some will offer up their opinions as it relates to the maximizing aspect while others will focus on the minimizing aspect and there will be those who have an opinion on both. That's life!

This team is very good. When you're as good as they are, you can be critical. Doesn't mean you hate the team. Just means everyone is tuned in.

I'd take being critical over a two point win then being osu and patting myself on the back for a Valliant effort in an NIT season.

Well said.

How is enjoying a victory and looking at the positive aspect of having won the game being a sunshine pumper?

More importantly, how is maintain a positive attitude about things in your life a negative characteristic ? Many people on the internet literally act as if it is insult to be an optimist. If the best insult you have for me is something I consider a compliment, I guess I should just say thank you.

Certainly wasn't meant to be an insult. Sorry if you took it that way.
I won't address the sunshine pumper question as I don't see the need to continue the conversation.

Let's hope we play a clean game and find a way to beat a very good WVa team.
Holding serve at home is important in winning the regular season B12 title.
