Our first 7 big 12 games

If we come out of this stretch any better than 4-3, we're going to win the conference outright. We'll have played 5 of 8 games against the best 4 teams (other than OU) and will have only one road game left against that group (West Virginia, which is a tough matchup for us).

No predictions...but,we're getting the meat of the conference season early.

I wouldn't bet that we will win all 7 but the good news is that there is not a game there where a win is highly unlikely. We should probably only be a slight underdog at KU and probably even at ISU. There are some other danger games there and just have to take them on one at a time.

I believe the conference race is between KU and OU and don't think KU is going to lose many games (maybe 3 or 4). We won't lose the conference by losing any one game but that early game in Lawrence is going to be fun and an early indicator. Unfortunately, we have ISU right before that and that is no picnic.
