The thing is...Godbolds career is over...and we know that he was a good defender but he was decent on the offensive end. Pledger still has 2 more years to improve on his offense and defense. So right now, I would definatly choose Pledger...Maybe not when its all said done but for now it would be Pledger.

Last year was a disaster at every level. Capel gets a lot of a pass for last year because he couldn't have known the character of his players according to those here. I don't really get that philosphy but he's getting a past for last season. A pass on 3 teams that don't make the post season isn't going to happen. There's now way Capel lasts another year without post season next year. Probably shouldn't last even if we make the NIT which is going to be hard.

UHHHHHH, did I miss something?? I didn't see the part where the OP was advocating for an easier schedule. I did see the point that was made about some of the teams that beat us being better than was 1st advertised.....

Don't see any hatred there. I didn't say Capel is a miserable person that kills little dogs or something like that. Just said with the history Oklahoma basketball has if we don't make the NCAA Tournament he won't be around after next year. I think about 95% of this board would agree with that.
