Practice

Reported that Kaylon had a good day on the boards. Music to my ears!

Glad to hear that. Wish we had Gary reports for this team as well.

It is important that Kaylon is healthy.

Yes it is. Losing players to injury does not keep me from enjoying all the games but it is a kick in the danglers when these ladies go down. For once in what seems like a long while I wish we could see all the players free of season ending injury. Captain Obvious I know but I am going to be cringing all season just hoping the injury hammer does not fall this year.

On Oct 10th and 24th, practices will be televised on SoonersportsTV. Sherri will wear a microphone.

Since I believe that rebounding is the single biggest key to our success this year, to hear that KayKay is well and rebounding really well is great.

Do we know how the girls are that had seemed to be banged up at the volleyball game previously mentioned on here?

I think we will all be holding our breath anytime a player goes down. After last season, I am a little concerned about re-injury but would think it couldn't get much worse. We have a tough schedule though and are playing a lot of physical teams so it's good to see the girls working hard in the weight room.

You're right, a key injury or two would be a real setback to a season in which we should realize a lot of success.

What is the date (late this month) for the open scrimmage for season ticket holders?

Friday, October 25th. I believe it starts at 6:00 PM, with meet the gals afterwards and a pizza party.
