Anyone know when the Big 12 preseason player picks will be announced?

The announcement of the preseason awards comes right after the formal start of fall team practices. Last year the date was Wednesday, October 3. The announcement of the Big 12 preseason poll was a week later.

I am making a change to my Necomer of the year award in the Big XII. Since Maddie only got to play in five games last year and no conference games, she is considered a freshman and would be a "necomer" to the conference. Maddie Manning will be the Necomer of the year for the 2013-14 season. So there you have it.
