What's your ranking as of now?

I haven't gotten to watch much of the bottom teams.

I think OU is playing better ball than Baylor. And while OSU is probably better today than KU, I'm not ready to write off KU just yet. Self has done some tremendous coaching jobs the last few seasons. So my list is a bit of what I see now, and what I see a month or two from now.

Why a ISU over OU? Curious on folks opinions. I haven't seen them much

Hard to say for sure but I have to give them current edge with a decent win over Michigan and good road win at BYU. Will have to see more games to know more. I noticed we do have a common opponent in George Mason coming up this month.

Texas might gradually get past Baylor IMO. Although both have some tougher games the next couple weeks. Baylor has Kentucky on Friday. Texas plays Kentucky and Michigan State back to back here in a couple weeks. Baylor hasn't been impressive at all in the times I've seen them play.

Two reasons for me.

They are defending much better than we are (according to KP's efficiency stats). And while 3 point shooting percentage at this point means very little, I think by the end of the year they will be the better shooting team.

It's close. It wouldn't shock me to see OU finish in front of them. How the two teams' schedules lay out may be a factor in that. I just think ISU is playing better overall ball right now.

ISU has a couple quality wins that almost ensure themselves a NCAA bid as long as they finish top 6 in conference.

Not hard to say. They're undefeated with two substantially better wins than any we have. They're 30-50 spots ahead of us in the computer rankings.

Not hard for you to say but it still is for me. Computer rankings mean nothing to me this time of year - takes well into conference season before they iron themselves out. Agree that they have better wins right now and that's why I have them ahead of us. When I watch them now, however, I don't see anything that makes me want to rank them more than one step above us.
