Props to Capel and the players. I at one time said something kind of insulting about the players that i regret, saying they sucked. Shame on me. Some of them are as good as I thought they were, and now with the hard work, chemistry, and playing better its translated to 4 wins in conference. More than some thought we'd get. The fact is, we are 4-3 in conf right now which is good. Let's wait till the end of the season before the defenders of the almighty coach Capel keep beating their chests saying "I told you so". Truth is with this team if we ended up over .500 in conf id be REAL happy. Show's Capel's gotten them together and done a good job. However, its all relative. Remember, he's the one that got us here in the first place, HOPING for .500 finishes in conference when a few years ago that would have been laughable. I have nothing against Capel but I do love OU basketball. I'd like nothing more than for him to turn it around, but we'll see. Im excited about the recent success, but the yoyo personality of this board is really amusing at times. Four wins over Tech, Baylor, ISU, and Colo are the four that if your going to get any, those are the ones.... Win another road game or two, and beat at team like Texas at home and Ill be real impressed. Sorry Capel pumpers, this is OU and expectations are high. If he can pull that off i'd come back on and eat some more. Since its possible that he's saved his job for another year, next year has to NCAA tourney or bust. You have to keep getting better. At a place like this its inexcusable not to....
