Hey all, I'm a long time reader of this forum and first time poster. I've seen a lot of talk about what we need to fill our scholarship(s) with and I am curious as to why there is no talk about getting a big man. I know we have Goff and Osby coming in, but are we not pursuing a big man anymore? It seems like we are lacking on the boards so far this season and will struggle against anyone with size down low. Anyone know of us pursuing any big guys or are we going to move forward with what we have currently?

Goff and Osby look like they can provide rebounding, plus richie peters in 2012 is another big we have coming in. Right now we need a true game ready point guard so Newell and Pledger can go back to being off ball guards

To me it just seems like CJ and Nick are both a little undersized to play the four. CJ has shown some promise with rebounding, but this team lacks bodies down low to rebound the ball. I can see Nick playing the 3 if we had the bodies to move him over there. If we added a big body or two (not just height but with some weight on them) we could move guys like Nick and Neal to strictly playing the three. Fitz has flashed a solid low post and mid range game, but I think he is best suited at the 4 with his size. Is Goff's size true to what they list him as?

Blair doesn't seem like an able point guard? I've liked what I've seen from him so far, and he seems to be getting more comfortable.

I agree, I think the improving down low needs to be a focus.
