Sam Grooms (juco pg) claiming OU offer

6'2'' 205 Sam Grooms out of Chipola Junior College in Florida is reporting offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Houston, and Baylor. He is also getting looks from UNC and LSU, but said they havent offered yet.

He joins Blake Nash and Jeremy Jones as the top 3 juco point guards that OU is looking at..

It seems that maybe Capel has learned his lesson about putting all his eggs in one basket (Jai Lucas, Harrison Barnes, etc.), but judging from the JUCO guys on this team, I would think this is a major step down from Guerrero.

This guy is good. A juco guy that I wouldn't mind OU picking up. Kansas likes him too. I've heard he's better than Nurideen Lindsays.

You know, I love OU Basketball. I love everything OU.

Right now, there are just a lot of problems in our Basketball program with only ONE solution. Unfortunately!

Do I like watching OU vs KU at home and being down by ten within 5 minutes hell no.

However, there is also NO excuse for it either. Absolutely NONE!!

I remember when this game used to be somewhat competitive.

I've never seen Grooms, Nash or Smith play, but looking at their offer lists I'm guessing they'd be upgrades over what we currently have. Sign them up.
