Our Sooners took some shots after they notched a 2 seed in the west regional. Many said we had the easiest road. Is that so? Let's just go ahead and put pen to paper on each teams road to the final 4

UNC- has played a 16, 9, 5, and 6 seed

UVA- 16, 9, 4, and 10 seed(a last 4 in type team)

I'm sorry but if we are talking about easy roads OU is not the one to point at as they have faced:

15, 10, 3, and now 1 seed. Only Vilanova can lay claim to a tougher road to the final 4 then our Sooners. And that can even be debated.

OUs road also consisted of 2 of the "Power 5"s out right regular season conference champions as well as VCU the regular season champion of the A-10 and Cal State Bakersfield the regular season champion of the WAC. I'm sorry but that to me is the toughest road to the final 4.

It's not really about seeding but opponents. Our bracket was pretty week but we dominated

But that's what I'm saying. Those teams didn't even have to play those top seeds that they whined about being paired with. Teams like Kentucky, MSU, Baylor, & WVU bowed out early and our regional actually held really close to form. So we ended up playing BETTER teams.

Nova played a 15, 7 , 3 and 1. And the 1 they beat was the #1 seed in the tournament. KU>>>>UO.

Nova is playing great ball.

Actually, I thought we had the easiest draw. However, we may still have some positive karma coming our way for having to play the '88 title game in Kansas City as basically an away game. Two years later, we get rewarded for being the overall #1 seed by playing a team with a boatload of Burger Boys and future NBA players in the second round. As a result, we deserved this path.
