I have never seen a shooting performance that brilliant on an opponent's court.

50 shots is not a lot to take but the effective shot to score rate is off the chart.. Counting 150% for a made three the shooting % for the game was equivalent to making 78% of our 2 point shots.

But it gets better for the second half. Even though our 3 point shooting dropped to only 50% in the second half, the two point shots were off the charts. Not counting free throws we scored the equivant of 112% of our two point shots.

I'm curious if you know of better effective rate shooting percentages. Creighton may have a game like that two years ago.

62% shooting is fantastic anytime..doing it on the road in conference vs a top 15 team who hadn't lost at home all year is amazing..not to mention 93.5% assist rate on made FG..

I bet no one plays zone against us for any significant time.

And probably missed the last 10 attempts.

Before we went into stall mode ( the last 5 minutes) we were shooting almost 68% from three .

I certainly don't pretend to know as much as the OU coaches but I wonder why with 4 minutes left and stalling, they didn't run 20-25 seconds and then force a dribble penetration rather than a three? It seems to me we need more practice with dribble penetrating and a beaten team is likely to foul or have a break down on defense leading to an easy basket.

I agree . Even more so in close games . Against WV the last 3 of 4 possessions we were in the double bonus and we settle for a jump shot . The penetration by Woodard on the last drive was the only good look .

I wish we had a Nolan Johnson on this team . I guy that could just get to rack and finish or hit his FFs.

Woodard was great at this as a underclassman but it seems to settle too much outside . Or we let Buddy try and create and that's just not his strength .

I would love some clear outs for Jordan and the end of games again . The last couple minutes of games I want it his hands and his hands only . I wish he could have had the last shot against Iowa state on the dribble penetration, not Buddy

I'm not picking on you, but there's a heaping helping of irony in your last paragraph there.

As in, if I had a dollar for every post over the past couple of seasons bemoaning the fact that Jordan usually got the last shot, drinks and several orders of chicken wings would be on me.
