Lombardi and her ducks help OU. They upset UCLA 4-3 at UCLA. Now if they could steal another one though not likely. With FSU losing 2 to Louisville last week the Sooners should have a lock on one of the top 2 seeds if they can win out while sweeping the whorns and pukes. Possibly even the top seed.

5-0, for the second straight day, an OU pitcher lost a no-hitter or perfect game in the last at bat. Lopez pitched a one-hitter, two walks.

OU bats were largely deceased.

NO. I was expecting an explanation as to why Flores was playing RF. None, unless it was in the pre-game show, which I missed.

Really the bats have been quiet two games in a row with a total of only 11 hits against the hawks after averaging 9.76 hits/game. Also the hawk pitching is very weak with a 4.87 era.

Definitely hope the bats are not going cold with the whorn series starting Thusday.

Looks like Baylor & UT only got 1 game in this weekend. UT at 7-3 in conference play and OSU at 10-2 trailing the 9-0 Sooners.
 
Difficult to understand the new RPI rankings. FSU lost 2 of 3 to Louisville since the last ranking and stayed #1. #2 Washington jumped from 4th to 2nd over now #3 UCLA and #4 OU with a sweep of #32 ASU. Texas moved up to #5 after taking 2 of 3 from #18 Tech. Washington was sweep by UCLA at home earlier this year. Washington has 6 losses while UCLA and OU have only 2 losses. FSU has 5 losses.

Obviously OU's weak conference schedule to date is hurting the Sooners but we get #5 Texas this weekend and #17 OSU the first weekend in May which should help. Both UCLA and Washington still have #7 Arizona and #26 Stanford on their schedule to close the season.

Sooners should be fine during the NCAA selection process if they stay in the top-5. OU should be in good shape if they win 2 out of 3 on the road in Austin.
 
Sydney Romero taken #3 by USSAA Pride , Caleigh Clifton #9 by Chicago Bandits and Shay Knighten #20 by the USSAA Pride. Kelly Barnhill Florida was the #1 draft pick by the Chicago Bandits and Amanda Lorenz by the USSAA Pride in the 2019 National Pro Fastpitch Draft.

Auburn had 5 players drafted, OU had 3 and Florida, Kentucky and Ohio State had 2 drafted.
