Sooners adapting to size, layout of NRG Stadium

Re: Sooners adapting to size, layout of NRG Stadium | Oklahoma Daily

Good article...but after reading almost any article nowadays (esp school papers) I am always left wondering if papers don't even edit or proofread anymore

At least with respect to the game vs. Nova, I don't get why everyone is so focused on how this will impact OU and not Nova. Interestingly, Villanova and OU take almost exactly the same amount of 3s per game (24.4). The difference is that Villanova shot a much worse percentage (35.4 vs. 42.8) against worse overall defensive competition. So Nova "relies" on the 3 just as much as OU, they just shoot it worse. So tell me again how this is a disadvantage for OU? I guess we'll see how it plays out.

Because our shooting percentage can take a bigger dip than theirs can.

i.e. if shooting is 10% harder in NRG we would lose 4.3% whereas they would lose 3.5%
