Interesting stat. Surprising, too. I would have bet my last dollar Gipson's average rebounds would be twice that number.

On another note, I couldn't help but notice this quote by Walker:

“Just trying to feel my place on the team,” Walker said. “I didn’t want to come in and think it was just about me and try to do stuff that wasn’t meant for me. It took me quite a while to find out what I’m supposed to do ... if I’m supposed to shoot or go on the drive or pass to teammates.”

Thomas made a similar comment not long ago. If Thomas and Walker were still trying to feel their place on the team, one has to believe this team has barely scratched the surface on how good they can be.
