Sooners pay for not being ready >>> Norman Transcript

Point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin, who scored 20 points, admitted the message was sent by OU coach Jeff Capel following Saturday's 1-point victory over Northern Colorado, in Sunday's practice and even prior to Monday's game

"He warned us. He told us if we didn't come out ready to play, rebound and defend, it wasn't going to be easy," he said. "We came out trying to outscore them without defending. And that's what happened."

Well at least TMG has recognized it, now let's do something about it!

Yes it's good he recognized it but honestly he and Warren were destroyed defensively last night. It's getting to the point that it shouldn't be hard for them to recognize what the problem is because it's happening game in and game out. Last nights game ball pressure and stopping drives were a HUGE problem and if you let the other teams guards get into the lane on almost every possession you aren't going to win.........period.
