SOONERS VS Couch Burners

WVU is probably the worst team we've played all year and we made them look good. This was just an awful loss we just completely lack talent right now.

I actually feel sorry for our players. They are being let down by poor coaching.

I feel sorry for anyone who thought this team had talent. I admit that after the non conference I believed that we could actually make the tournament. I am only mad at myself for actually buying in to this rag tag team.

I am looking forward to next year's non-conference schedule, conference records are overrated!

We are simply awful and it’s the result of horrific coaching and no leadership and low basketball IQ. Case in point: down 6 with 16 seconds left and our 6th year senior is driving to the basket and shooting. We were outworked, outplayed, and worst of all, outcoached.

Couldn’t hear the announcers and was in and out. What’s the deal with ja$ not olaying

Close the book on this season. I haven't missed an OU game in 25 years and I'm considering sitting out the rest of this season just as our players have done. Their soft play and boneheaded decisions makes me physically nauseous

He's soft as hell and wouldn't fight for boards today. And if he is not getting rebounds, he is a liability when he is out there.

To hell with next years class, fire Kruger after the season. At best next years class is just putting lipstick on a pig. Kruger is running this program into the ground.

it's NOT a "lack of talent". There is enough talent to win games. It's a lack of coaching the talent that's there properly. Lon's style requires gym rats who are self-motivated. It requires they have the internal drive to achieve on their own. Not all players have that.

Is it the assistant coaches that were hired or is it a lack of the players we have on the roster, just not giving a horses a##!Go Sooners!

They have won 15 games. This roster has 1 4 star player. You could find close to 100 teams with more than 1 4 star player on the roster.

I don't know if it is his style, personality, or recruiting, but the last several seasons have convinced me that he lends to an atmosphere of "finesse, softness, and undisciplined play"......the exact opposite of Kelvin.

Kruger's pattern at most or all of his coaching stops has been to build a program, peak, and then fade. We are in the "fading" phase right now. We will see what happens next year, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see some new blood sooner rather than later.

Bienemy has averaged 1 singular point per game since the Oklahoma State game

And has 18 assists, 7 steals, and only three turnovers in that stretch. You seem to be one of those people who think scoring is the only way to evaluate a player. James scored significantly more than Bieniemy today, but was clearly the worst player on the floor.

Your right, but if James & Odoms(both seniors) don't show up to score, then your screwed.Points have to come from somewhere.Go sooners!!

I dont care how many stars they have. Buddy was a 3 star for that matter. I can look at the skills and bodies and see they have enough talent to win. The problem is it's not being used to its' potential.

The emphasis on defense was a very wise move but we needed some discipline to accompany it. The whole point to holding an opponents' fg% low is so that your own offensive efficiency has a better chance to exceed theirs. Work your tail off on solid D then run down and jack up an ill-advised trey then you should be throttled for it. I see poor floor spacing, bad signals in 2 man games (like calixte starting to backcut then not and brady throwing it away as a reesult), guys not ever bothering to set up for shots, shooters passing on shots they need to take - it's just a darn mess out there.

And the fact that a couple of guys have never even bothered to doctor their own shooting woes just bugs me to no end. At least I see some effort from McNeace to work on his ft's. RO? not a lick. CJ took some initiative and spent a summer in the gym and it showed. The others needed to do the same and I think his would have held better. They have NO discipline in their shooting be it form or spot or situation and that's just poor coaching IMO.
