State of Oklahoma Class of 2012 rankings

You may have been thinking about Tony Moore. He transferred over to Union for his senior year, mainly for football though. Didn't do much in basketball.

That is exactly who is thinking about. However I was going to let him come up with it if he was such a big recruiting pull.

He left a football school that was 0-30 in the 3 varsity years he played for them.

By the way, he moved over, he didn't transfer.

Yeah same thing.. tony, tracy... you got my point... So if you're losing, then its ok to "move" for athletic reasons... Recruiting is recruiting. Union does it, jenks does it. Take a step into reality. Everyone knows Union recruits!

Haha, ok.

Well Union's coaches needed to do a better job recruiting that season since they went .500 on the year.

Tony was a good 7th or 8th man off the bench for the worst team in 15 years.

If you think I need to step into reality, sounds great. I love living in my own little dream world. I would love for you to tell me what basketball kids we have recruited. I need to take a step into reality and would love for you to help me take that step. Please let me know about this recruiting that we do.

Thanks in advance.

By the way, are you the same Brimm that played basketball for Sand Springs a few years before Tony was there? Played for coach Garrett?

Really, ok please let me know the recruiting story you heard about on Tony.

As always, you heard this like everyone else who isn't involved, just heard it from someone.

I heard that Brimmbball is a unicorn with purple stripes. Since I heard it, it must be true.

I haven't said that things don't go on, I just asked what kid Union has recruited in basketball??? If Tony Moore is your example, I am going to laugh.

I just find it ironic that the team that skirts the rules to get two guys eligible from another state can turn in another school on a player. Of course when you assistant coach is buddies with the AD who also happens to be on the OSSAA board, then it makes sense.

I will get back to you.

I wrote you a personal message.

As I told you there, if we have coaches doing something they shouldn't I want to know so we can get that info to the appropriate people. If we are doing something wrong, we should pay the price for it.

Doesn't your brother work at Union too?

We are going to have a 2014 poll come out real soon. Who are some of the 2014 kids that you guys feel should get consideration.

Every school recruits players thats a fact!! Players Recruit other players.

Adrion Williams and Cameron Peters expect them to have big years for Piedmont now that all the seniors graduated.

I've seen both this spring with Team June, both are promising prospects.

Union has 3 kids who have HIGH ceilings. You know of one as you write about him a lot.

Kevin Sims 6'1 PG
Carson Meier 6'6 pushing 6'7 now forward.
Jeff Mead 6'6 pushing 6'7 forward.

Alex Barton is another 2014 kid that Union has.

If you want any info on these guys, you have my number.

We're very high on three of those kids. We haven't seen Jeff Mead, but the other three seem to have a lot of potential.

Nico Meadows out of Capitol Hill HS has been offered a schollie by OU. He's waiting on TTech though, who really knows why he wants to go there.

I'm going to edit this as I didn't see the letter from OU, and from what I can tell schools are not allowed to formally offer a Jr. to be until a little later. He showed my wife the letter and she thought it looked like a schollie letter, as it had a break-down of the scholarship and what it covered, but I don't know if it was maybe just an informative letter.

can someone explain the difference between Nino and Revey?

from what i read in the update they seem like the same player but one is rated higher than the other.

Will sent you a message.

2 other Tulsa area kids might be:

Coleman Key- 6'5 Owasso. Great QB and very good basketball player. Has good skills for a kid his size in 9th grade

Parker 6'0 guard from Jenks. He played well this year in games against Sims and I know your opinion on Kevin.

I saw Parker at the Cager with Team June, he played really well when I watched. Looks like the talent level in the Eastern half of the state has a chance to be good in 2014.

Nino is a more explosive athlete than Reevy, faster, quicker etc. Thier playing styles are very similar but Nino is a cut above in regards to natural gifts.
