Wow, Iowa State getting all this talent while we struggled to sign anybody.

i love these type of posts, but even for the purported best of the best, you're missing some players. texas and a&m recruits, white for isu, etc.

White declared for the draft- sys. Jordan Green from A&M is really underrated- I think he will be better than their more celebrated guard- Branch.

Woah, I hadnt heard that. Is he hiring an agent? The guy hasnt even played basketball in 2 years and he is gonna enter the draft?

Weird.

Uh, that list is pure garbage without Myck Kabongo. :facepalm

If you watch the highlight video of Osby from high school he looks skinny.

Now look at him.

He's put a lot of work in the weightroom this season, I know that YoYo would work him out hard before everygame since he didn't get to play.

I know who he is. Putting him in seems like a stretch, hence the ????

Averaging 9ppg on a couple of teams that went to a Final Four, and one to a championship game (and for an Izzo team) is like averaging 15+ at a lesser school. He was a top 30 recruit out of high school.

He led a pair of Final Four teams in 3 pointers made 2 years in a row, was 2nd on the team in assists, is a very good defender, was a big part of 14 NCAA Tournament games. He is in the MSU top 10 in 3pters made during a career.

Compare all that to anything ANY new recruit has and its a no-brainer to put him on the list. He isn't a draft pick or anything, but he is a heckuva college player and will bring great shooting, great defense, great experience, and great leadership to ISU and the Big 12.

He would be an instant starter for any team in the Big 12, including Kansas.

Putting a guy that couldn't produce at Miss St. as "best of the best" is a reach.

Why do you care? In fact, you have seven posts, all of which are negative towards OU Basketball. Why even be here?

"Couldn't" isn't the same as "didn't have an opportunity." He was a young PF on a team with a deep front court of upperclassmen. Everyone that has seen him in practice has raved about him. And it is ridiculous to think that a junior that will have spent well over a year doing nothing but training would not be better than a Fr/So that was barely given 13 min a game.

Just for fun:

Fr stats/40min: 13 pts 8.3 rbds

So stats/40min: 13 pts 7.6 rbds

I forgot to mention that Osby shot 41% from 3 (16/39) as a sophomore.

If you are going to put Osby who averaged 4 a game for 2 years up there. You gotta put Allen up there, he started at Michigan State for 2 years and they were contenders. A lot better than Miss State.
