Funny how that happens. I guess we really are at least the second best team in the conference, pending further results.

45-26 at halftime. It's not like TCU didn't come to play, we just came to play harder.

I didn't see one Sooner player that made me wonder why she's playing so badly. Everyone played a good half, including several players who've been marginal lately.

I will be happy with a win. I'll be very happy with a dominating one.

I hope Sherri plays Gioya and Sharane just about the entire second half as they are looking good and I think it would boost their confidence to have a big scoring game today.

OK. Scorekeepers are nuts. ESPN has Maddie with one block and one steal. I think the announcers had her with at least three blocks and at least three steals, two leading to fast breaks (missed the last one).

We stalled a bit at the end of the half--lost the flow and rhythm. Until then, we were on fire. We declined to about 58% shooting, a drop of about 15% in the last five minutes.

With 26 points, we have shut TCU down pretty well. They have little or no flow to their game. They are driving pretty well, mostly against reserve guards. They aren't hitting much from beyond ten, and they really aren't hitting that much from underneath.

Watch the passes.

I see that UConn leads Tulane 42-12 at the half. Ohio State has a one-point lead over Illinois at the half.

All of our starters have hit at least two shots.

Peyton finding her range on a consistent basis, HUGE. That will spread the floor so much for us.

Gioya getting it going again, HUGE.

I continue to stick up for Maddie on these boards and you can see why. Leave her and she will make things happen. Still timid on her offensive attack, she needs to find comfort on the court- only way will be getting her minutes. But her Defense plays her no matter the circumstance.

After that Baylor game, we know where we need to be. Expect even more from this young sqaud.
