It's real simple. If he was on OU we win today and 10 extra games. We are a good team. Just a little thin on talent due to all the early departures.

Like what I see today. Our shortcomings are nobodies fault.

Agreed. I'm very pleasantly surprised the last few games. Capel has done a helluva job with these guys so far!

How does Callipari get all those players and why doesn't he ever get in trouble when his former schools get in trouble.

This. Exactly what I was thinking...

You are exactly right. College basketball, unlike any other sport, is so influenced by a single player or two. T Jones is a man and probably is a top 5 pick whenever he goes out. His skill set is good and made for the pros. He's a Carmello type player.

Terrance Jones has the most NBA ready body I have seen at this stage in his career of anybody besides blake since the one and done rule was instituted

Were the Memphis transgressions his fault? Sounded like it was a clearinghouse issue, before Rose even got to campus. As for getting players it is a pretty simple formula...exciting brand of basketball to play at an elite program which puts players in the NBA. It's not rocket science.

A top 20 program needs a Terrence Jones type player every four years atleast.

So was that what this Maui tourney was all about, a chance for us to re-visit all the recruits we didn't land?

Terrance Jones and Doron Lamb was bad enough, two guys we tried pretty hard at getting. But then you add N'Diay at Washington, it almost brings a few tears.
