they aren't going to make one of their "premier" tickets against texas free. season ticket holders already lost money from the baylor game. which is why they offered a free ticket to those of us that went to that game. if they did that again, some people would be out $95 of what they paid on their season tickets. not cool, unless they made a credit toward next season's tickets. and top daug would return before that happens.

UNLV was $1.00 (I believe maybe free) in 1987 due to weather. That was too highly ranked teams. I don't see why the caliber of the opponent would have any impact on the decision. They have sold the vast majority of tickets that will be sold. Only a very uninformed fan would purchase tickets from OU at this point because they will be almost free outside of the stadium.

Naaa, if it gets more fans at the game, increasing our slim chance of winning, I'm all for it. But I could see how some might not like it.
