Lucas getting hurt for Michigan State is a disaster for them. They were on track for the final four, undoubtedly.

Of course, there isn't another coach in the country you would rather have to weather the storm than Izzo.

Northern Iowa will have a great shot at the Elite 8 now without having to play against Lucas. It doesn't appear remotely possible he comes back next week.

How wild is this tournament. St. Mary's(10 seed), Northern Iowa(9 seed) and Cornell(12 seed) all have a good shot at going to the Elite 8.
