***The OFFICIAL NCAA Tournament Thread***

Come on Robert Morris!

edit: this message is intended for any Robert Morris players who are reading this thread in the huddle during this timeout

A win is a win. Didn't UConn almost lose to Albany in the first round the year they won the national title? Or am I confusing years?

Looks like the entire upper deck at the New Orleans arena is competely empty. Heard on the radio they had only sold 60 percent of their tickets. Ouch.

I've got BYU in the title game, though....

:ez-laugh:

I think I have them in the SS or EE; I figured they'd be so sick of hearing about first round failures that they would be extra focused and be a tough out even for a higher seed. Found myself wondering what the heck I was thinking...

I thought they'd do well with the home court advantage in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8.

Besides, I was picking to try to "win", so I was a little contrarian. (I think I just made up a word...)

You serious, Clark?

Yeah... #8 in Pomeroy ratings, basically a very good team that NO ONE thinks is that good. Or perhaps they aren't that good. So, to give my bracket a shot at cleaning up, I took them deep into the tournament. All the way to the title game, in fact.

My bracket is based on trying to maximize my upset picks, balanced against the odds that the upsets will actually happen. BYU gave the most bang for my pick on that side of the bracket (why pick KU, even they are the most likely to get there? Like half the country has KU in the title game.)

I see it all the time but someone please tell me North Texas school name isnt "Mean Green"

lol after having watched that game you think your bracket is safe with having Nova in the final 4 ?

Nova barely made it out of the first round last year against American in a simliar game, was down big early and fought to win close at the end...that team ended up in the Final Four...

That whole bracket IMO is filled with sketchy teams...any of which could lose a game really early in the tournament...Duke, Nova, Baylor and Purdue...are you kidding me with those 4?
