Odomes running the 1 would largely be a disaster imo. But if they aren't pressuring the 1 up the court i mean anyone could in theory bring it up.. i don't think he can run and distribute the ball in an offense tho

Yes, pretty much nobody on roster is a legit option to run point. I am all for combo guards (like an Everett) being your point guard, but none of those guys on the team fit that bill.

Agree on combo-guard types. I love those 6'1 - 6'4 guys that can run point, but also score. KU always seems to have a couple. A lot of the teams making deep runs in the Tourney in recent years do. Reminds me of the old Cory Brewer type players. Just gamer/ballers. We need more of those.

Agree here. Jamal will be a freshman but I think we need more combo guys that can do both!
