today's practice

Polla's time will be match-up driven, he may go three or four games with no playing time and then play a bunch.

Foul trouble for Lattin and McNease will obviously add to his playing time as well.

James has been the best player on the team through the start of practice.

The story last year was James dropped 30+ on Oregon in a scrimmage. He can be such an X factor for this team. He consistently hits the 3 and OU can be dangerous and very tough to guard.

...

@TRowOU: Lon Kruger tells us on "T-Row Show" that starting lineup Saturday will be Young, Odomes, McGusty, Manek & Lattin. @Sportstalk1400

That is crazy to think about. Younger and better. Who would have predicted that?

How is that much younger than last year's lineup of Woodard, McGusty, Odomes, Doolittle and Lattin?

It's literally the same breakdown...

2016 - 2 Fr, 1 So, 1 Jr, 1 Sr
2017 - 2 Fr, 1 So, 1 Jr, 1 Sr

Got younger because 1 senior and 1 soph aren’t starting that started last year.

Replaced with 2 freshmen and the others went to the bench and graduated. 1 will come back Doolittle back

Now those guys Doolittle are a year older and coming off the bench

I think the lineup OUHoops posted on the first page is the one we'll see to begin the regular season. If Manek plays well and does a decent job of guarding his position, Doolittle may struggle to beat him out when he returns.
