What do you guys see being Trae's effect?

Win's and Losses?
Recruiting this season or next?
Anything else?

I have been wondering if there are other 17 grads out there that were wanting to play with him? I know we are out of ships. But that sometimes shakes up.

That is the main reason I wish he would have committed sooner. To help with current class.

I believe everything hinges on the current teams progression, we thought Blake would make our recruiting much better. The times we have had this caliber of player in the state and has come to OU things have been very good. I believe we need one more to get to really see the difference we need to be in the top 10 again!!!

If Trae stays two years, we're bonafide national championship contenders in '18-'19.

Blake did make our recruiting better. He attracted Willie Warren, another McDonald's All-American, his second season at OU. That team went to the Elite Eight when Blake was a sophomore. The following year two more Burger Boys signed with OU. They were both knot heads, but the trend to sign four Mickey D AA's in three straight seasons started with Blake Griffin.

To me, it's all about the wins and losses. If we win games, compete for the conference championship, and make runs in the tournament, we'll be able to recruit. In my mind, it's not Trae Young's job to recruit others to OU. It'd be great if he does, but his job is to help the team win games. That will sell recruits on the program's future.
