Trae already has more assists than anyone did for OU all of last season. He has 102. Woodard led the team last year with 61. He's also 2 games away (probably) from scoring more points than any OU player did all of last season, and that will be the team's first conference game. Insane!

Trae matched last year's team-leading assist total of 61 in his first SEVEN games this year!

The entire team accumulated 329 assists last year.

Trae has a chance to eclipse that. At his current pace, he'd hit 329 assists two games into the Big XII tourney, or during a first round game in the Big Dance.

To be fair to Woodard. He probably gets around 120 assists if he weren't injured. But Trae will end up around 200 more assists at his pace.

wow

We were a terrible passing team last year. The offense was stand around and then go one on one.

We had one game last year with only 2 assists

Trae reminds me a little of Pistol Pete Maravich. He was a great scorer and PASSER. Everyone on his LSU teams became a good passer... It was very entertaining basketball.

Hopefully OU's passing improves, because I did not like watching our games last year.

One of Trae's best skills is passing a guy open. He does it all of the time with the bigs.
