Because agents put their clients in shoes with really thick soles otherwise. It’s a baseline to know how tall someone actually is.

AI was a better athlete. He was still around in a period when big men still ruled a bit. But was still able to get inside and score on people. He was a 28 ppg scorer at 6' even for 11 years as a 31% 3 point shooter. Dude was a freak athletically. I don't know if Trae is a better scorer than AI but he's more skilled. Totally different players IMO. Trae is more or less like a mix of Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving.

you're missing the point nick. AI had more tangibles weighing against him yet they still picked him for the skills. Same thing they'll do with Trae.

If he leads the country in points and assists it will be the best season of all time imo. That has never been done before.

Adding varying shoe heights to it is silly.

same with the height differential with curry. it’s one inch. that matters not.

Good call. couldnt agree more. Doncic is just a phenom and so young yet already experienced from the Spanish pro league.. Bagley is the physique you need in the league. To me Trae falls 3rd after those 2.
